This morning the flight was cancelled due to wind speeds and low ceiling after a 30 minute hold. Of course after the cancelation the team chilled out in the parking lot for a good two hours. There were lots of good laughs to start the competition week off, but hopefully the mornings from here on out will work out for us to fly. It's always a good time coming down here, but it would be better if we got to fly a decent competition.
Last night the opening ceremonies were held. The saying, "Always bigger in Texas," stands true after those ceremonies. And they will have an even bigger one on Saturday for the public. This event is loved by everyone in the community, and everyone we have talked to always gives good feedback.
Tonight we will be going to Kilgore for a dinner, but until then we have to occupy ourselves. No flights in the morning=long days.

Morning madness |
I had a few videos from the opening ceremonies, but, unfortunately, they are not uploading onto the blog website. This may be a shocker, but I don't know how to put videos on YouTube, so I may need to find some help to upload them.
