This morning we were able to get the competition started with a four part task. Surprisingly, our team were the first few in the air. Everyone made it to all of the targets. Two of the targets were baggie drops and the other two were GPS scoring. Right now Todd is in 12th, Cory is in 13th, Jeremy is in 17th, Scott is in 28th, Brad is in 33rd, Gary is in 34th, and Jason is in 47th. Since this is the Nationals, competition is stiff and even though everyone scored the results weren't as high as hoped. There have been mixed reviews on when we will get another flight in, so hopefully it works out so the guys can try to come back.
Last night we had an event in Kilgore. This is where we had the burner blast. **Also I was told to note that Todd, Brown, Jason, and Rick Amos were golf champions that day.** We just got done with the second opening ceremonies. The pilots got to walk across a stage as their name was announced, so the public could see the pilots. Also the Rangerettes performed which is the Kilgore college dance team. Once again the opening ceremonies didn't disappoint.
